The firm
Meridian Passage exists to close a gap. The standard of disciplined, measured portfolio management and financial planning that ultra-high-net-worth families take for granted is rarely available to individuals and families below that threshold. The firm was founded to bring this to them: the same framework, the same care, and the same long-term perspective, at any scale.
The approach pairs a foundation of Modern Portfolio Theory and low-cost passive instruments with financial planning tailored to your specific goals. You work directly with a single advisor who knows your situation end-to-end. The portfolio and the plan are designed together, reviewed together, and recalibrated as your life changes.
The founder
Meridian Passage was founded by Martín Guerrero, CFA®. His background sits in two worlds: a lengthy career investing capital and running deals for wealthy families, and the experience of founding and building companies of his own.
For more than fifteen years, Martín has managed portfolios at scale across asset classes. He spent eight years as Director at SunChase Holdings, a Scottsdale-based single-family office, overseeing a sizable multi-asset portfolio spanning public securities, private credit, private equity, and real estate development. He later co-founded Courtyard Advisors, a registered investment advisor serving wealthy families and their portfolio companies. Across his investment career, he has led more than $1.5 billion in direct debt and equity investments.
In parallel, he founded and built Rhythm Beverage Group into a consumer goods brand with national scope, running it as an operator. That experience shapes how he evaluates investments today. He sees a company two ways at once: as an investment candidate, measured against quality, valuation, and long-term cash flow; and as an operating business, with its own pressure points behind the numbers on the page.
A few enduring convictions follow. Allocation matters more than security selection. Costs and taxes compound as relentlessly as returns. And the most useful contribution an advisor can make — a clear, deliberate process and the steadiness to hold it through every market cycle.
