The firm

Meridian Passage exists to close a gap. The standard of disciplined, measured portfolio management and financial planning that ultra-high-net-worth families take for granted is rarely available to those below that threshold. The firm was founded to bring you the same framework, the same care, the same long-term perspective, wherever you stand.

The approach pairs a foundation of Modern Portfolio Theory and low-cost passive instruments with financial planning tailored to your specific goals. You work directly with a single advisor who knows your situation end-to-end. The portfolio and the plan are designed together, reviewed together, and recalibrated as your life changes.

Meridian Passage was founded by Martín Guerrero, CFA®. He has spent his career on both sides of the table — investing capital for wealthy families and building companies of his own. Most advisors know one side or the other; the work here draws from both.

On the investment side, Martín has managed portfolios at scale for more than fifteen years. He spent eight years as Director at SunChase Holdings, a Scottsdale-based single-family office, overseeing a multi-asset portfolio spanning public securities, private credit, private equity, and real estate development. He later co-founded Courtyard Advisors, a registered investment advisor serving wealthy families and their portfolio companies. In all, he has led more than $1.5 billion in direct debt and equity investments.

As an operator, he founded Rhythm Beverage Group and built it into a consumer goods brand with national reach. Building a company from the inside teaches the mechanics behind the numbers: how cash actually moves, where margins quietly expand or contract, and how much of a business’s real condition lives between the lines. He carries that perspective into the work today.

The result is a way of seeing. Martín brings two views to every decision: the analyst’s, informed by data, history, and long-term evidence; and the operator’s, shaped by years of running a business through changing conditions. That dual lens is what matters most to clients: judgment grounded in both numbers and lived experience.
